seaside tourism from the first Baths on the Channel at the mid eighteenth century and the
birth of water towns in Europe, Australia, South Africa and United States, to the
"boom" of mass tourism in the fifties.
It is divided in five galleries which display more than five hundred paintings,
photographs, affiches, pieces of graphic arts and documents, concerning the evolution of
culture and custom of baths tourism. |
